A Personal Message from Victor Hawk Barriga

Just imagine for a moment if we did not have AI.

Do you know how hard it has always been for everyday people, independent creators, and unknown authors to make a book? For years, many talented people had ideas, stories, lessons, and dreams inside of them but they did not always have the money, the connections, or the access to make those ideas real.

I know this personally.

For many years, I wanted to create books — not just one, but many books. I had the ideas, the imagination, and the passion. What I did not always have was a clear path. Back in the day, if you wanted to publish, you had to search for publishers, send out proposals, wait for responses, and hope someone would even give you a chance. Many times, publishers were expensive, required major investment, or only wanted projects they believed would make them a lot of money. If your story did not fit their business model, many would not even look your way.

That was the reality.

And I understand why those companies operated that way — publishing is a business, and businesses need to survive. But for creators like me, it often meant that imagination had limits placed on it. Not because the ideas were not good, but because the doors were hard to open.

That is why I personally appreciate the technology we have today.

AI has helped open new doors for independent creators, authors, and visionaries. It has made it possible for people like me to finally bring ideas to life, organize thoughts, develop concepts, improve drafts, explore visuals, and create books that may never have had a chance in the old system. It does not replace the creator — it helps the creator. The ideas are still mine. The direction is still mine. The corrections, revisions, approvals, and final decisions are still mine.

I do this because I love to create.

I do this because I want to teach, inspire, and leave something meaningful behind.

I do not create only for money. My goal is bigger than that. I want to share messages, imagination, lessons, and stories with people — especially children, families, and anyone who still believes that ideas matter. AI simply helps me do what I have wanted to do for many years: create, build, and bring those visions to life.

So before anyone judges the process, I simply ask them to understand the purpose.

For some of us, AI did not take away creativity.

It gave creativity a real chance.

The Real Process: How AI Helps Create a Book

Some people think using AI means pressing one button and having a finished book appear. That is not how the process works.

AI is a tool that helps support the creative process, but the creator still provides the vision, direction, ideas, corrections, story purpose, and final approval.

The best way to explain it is like a creative team. One part helps with writing ideas. Another helps with editing. Another helps with layout. Another helps with artwork, design, and presentation. But just like any team, the work still has to be guided, reviewed, corrected, and approved.

The creator provides the information.
The creator checks the drafts.
The creator makes corrections.
The creator decides what stays, what changes, and what needs to be redone.
The creator gives the final approval.

That is how I use AI-assisted tools at E-Hawk Publishing / E-Hawk Generation. The technology helps bring the ideas forward, but the imagination, message, purpose, and heart behind the work come from me.

Great books do not happen by accident. They are created through ideas, planning, editing, artwork, layout, corrections, patience, and purpose.

AI helps with the process. The creator leads the vision.
